Policy changes for 2013-2014

Each year Effingham Unit CUSD 40 goes through a process of reviewing each building’s discipline code and handbook. Through groups, which consist of parents, teachers, students and administrators, suggested changes are made and then approved by the Unit 40 Board of Education. In an effort to keep parents and students informed of these changes Effingham Junior High School is highlighting some of the changes here so that parents and students will be aware for the coming school year. Please pay special attention to Dress Code policies as decisions are made to purchase school appropriate clothing. Mrs. Pals's sixth grade math classes have been studying polygons and classifying them by their different attributes. To wrap up the unit of study, students created iTrailer videos using the iPads.
