Parent Advisory Council
The Parent Advisory Council is a group of parents who offer suggestions for parental involvement activities and guide the Title I teachers in planning activities so they match with parent wants and needs.
How does the Council work?
Members of the council attend meetings to discuss parental involvement or other Title I issues. Members remain in contact with the Title I teachers in their buildings to maintain communication on upcoming activities and offer ideas or suggestions for improvement or alternative activities.
Members will be available via phone or email to hear suggestions from other parents on possible activities.
Members will communicate any feedback they receive from other parents to the teachers in their school.
How can I get involved or find out more information?
Members of the Advisory Council would be very willing to communicate with you. Their e-mail addresses will be listed here as they become available. You can e-mail them with questions or suggestions. Also, feel free to contact your child's teacher for ways to get involved.
