The stakeholders of Effingham Unit #40 School District must continue to expand and support the technical resources needed to have the greatest impact on student achievement.
Experiences will be maintained and expanded to focus on what students currently know and what students need to learn. Telecommunication infrastructures and data delivery systems will provide access to information that supports instruction and supports educational experiences that challenge students to achieve through effective technology integration now and far into the future.
The educational environment will include the utilization of telecommunication services and access to information technology for all stakeholders. Instructional technology will continue to support learning environments that will maximize student achievement. Information technology will support the educational staff, students, and administrators in all levels of learning with digital information and pertinent data that will assist with learning interventions and the organizational structure. The district will be forward-thinking by continuing to monitor changes in community demographics and learning needs.
The Technology Services department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the district Local Area Network (LAN), workstations, printers, and other technology related equipment. If you are experiencing a technology related problem that you are unable to troubleshoot please fill out a work order and submit it to the proper building personnel.
