As a parent, you are your child’s first teacher, the bedrock of education. We welcome you to participate in your child’s continued education at Effingham Unit 40. Effingham Unit #40 School District is making the INOW Parent Portal available for the 2011-12 school year. Please contact the school office for the particulars for gaining access to the INOW Parent Portal. When you receive your login ID and password you should also be prepared to provide an e-mail address to facilitate future communications and portal password changes. Scholarship Information
The Effingham High School Student Services Department posts scholarship information about applications currently available in the Student Services Office. This listing is updated regularly and available for viewing online and in high school classrooms.
Volunteer Opportunities
Opportunities for parents to become involved in their child's school take several forms. Our K-8 buildings have active Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTO) that hold several fundraisers and provide services to our schools. We also have volunteer opportunities in our schools and district for interested parents. Please contact your child's school office for further information.
Graduation
The Board of Education will set the dates for graduation at the March meeting.
